Reading is a basic tool in the living of a good life”.Reading helps to develop social values of tolerance and justice.
The students of Air Force Station Jalahalli observed 24th June Monday as reading day,to bring focus upon reading and to make it beneficial. Students from class IX B gave a talk on the importance of reading and one of the students read out an extract from a story book to motivate the students and also make them understand the importance of reading.
Prime Minister has urged the citizens to start a movement to inculcate the reading habit and set up a target to reach 300 million under privileged population withmessage of reading and digital reading by 2022 and we are proud to be a part of the campaign.
Students were motivated to use school libraries and participate in literary activities, with a stress upon the need of internet -enabled reading. It is a great initiative from CBSE and we are looking forward to for more such inspirational activities.
